Thyroid

Thyroid function tests evaluate the physiological activity of the thyroid gland by measuring circulating levels of thyroid hormones (typically TSH, free T4, and sometimes free T3). These tests are critical for detecting hypo- or hyperthyroidism, which can manifest as fatigue, weight fluctuation, mood disturbances, and other metabolic symptoms.
