Promotional Codes

Promotional codes can be created to provide discounts to clients when booking a programme.

Setting up Promotional Codes:

  • From the top bar click More > select Programmes from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the name of the programme you wish to create a promotional code for.
  • From the left side bar > click Promotional Codes > click Add Promotional code.
  • Enter the details of your promotion:
    • Promo Code: You can enter a name of your choice or if this field is left blank the system will generate and apply an alphanumeric code.
    • Discount in %: This is a mandatory field. If this field is not completed you will get an Error - Failed creating promotional code.
    • Applies to Product Extras: Tick this box if you want the discount to also apply to any extra products selected by your client.
    • Restrict by Group: You can restrict the use of the promotional code to a specific Group, this is optional.
    • Restrict by Products: You can restrict the use of the promotional code to a specific Product, this is optional. 
    • Expires at: You can add a date for which the use of the promotional code expires, again this is optional. 
    • Limit: You can set a limit on the number of times the promotional code can be used. This defaults to 1. You also have the option to tick the box to allow unlimited use of the code.
  • Click Confirm.

Editing Promotional Codes:

Previously created promotional codes can be edited at any time. 

Promotional codes that are currently active will be listed at the top of the page and any codes that have expired will be listed under the Inactives heading.

To open a list of Promotional codes associated with a programme:

  • From the top bar click More > select Programmes from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the name of the programme that the promotional code is associated with.
  • From the left side bar > click Promotional Codes.
  • Click the pencil icon beside the code you wish to edit.  You can make changes to any of the details of your promotion such as the name or % discount.

 

How to mark a Promotional Code as expired:

Previously created promotional codes can be manually expired at any time. To open a list of Promotional codes associated with a programme:

  • From the top bar click More > select Programmes from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the name of the programme that the promotional code is associated with.
  • From the left side bar > click Promotional Codes.
  • Click the Expire button.
  • An expired promotional code will be moved to the lower half of the page under an Inactives heading. 

Other considerations:

An inactive promotional code can be reactivated by clicking on the icon and adjusting the expiry date.

Promotional codes that are no longer required can be discarded by clicking on the Trash button. 

 

A deleted Promotional code cannot be recovered!

Using Promotional Codes:

When clients are booking an appointment, they are presented with the option to enter a Promo Code and click Apply.

This will apply the specified discount to their booking.
