Physical Activity Questionnaire

The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) is a standardised questionnaire developed to measure physical activity levels in adults (aged 15–69). It was created by a group of international experts to provide a consistent method for comparing physical activity across different countries and populations.

Questionnaire

The IPAQ comprises a set of 7 questions about the kinds of physical activities that people do as 
part of their everyday lives. Clients are asked about the time spent being physically active in the previous 7 days.

🟢 Green flag: Indicates activity levels meet or exceed WHO minimum requirements.

🟡 Amber flag: Indicates activity levels below WHO minimum requirements.

🔵 Blue flag: Indicates the client is outside the validated age range to be eligible to complete the IPAQ questionnaire.
