How to remove test categories from a medical

A medical includes all test categories that were selected at product set up.

When a client attends for their medical, if there are tests that cannot be completed, a medical can be edited to remove test types.

  • Open the client Medical > click Edit.
  • Deselect the relevant test category > click Submit.
  • Questionnaire questions and measurements related to the test category will be removed from the medical.

 

A medical can only be edited when it has a status of Processing.

How to the change a medical date

If a Program is configured to support a walk-in work flow, there will no appointments associated with a medical.  The medical date will reflect the date the client registers.

The date will need to be updated to reflect the date the client attends for their medical.

  • Open the client medical > click Edit.
  • Click on the medical date field > select the date for the medical > click Submit.

 

How to update a client's date of birth on a medical

If a client's date of birth is modified, medicals in processing need to be edited to recalculate the client age.

  • Click on the Client's name to open their profile information.
  • At the bottom of the client profile > click Edit.
  • Amend the date of birth > click Save.
  • From the left side bar select Medicals & appointments > click on the medical status to open the client medical > click Edit.
  • Click Submit to update the client's date of birth and recalculate their age.

A medical with a status of approved or dispatched, must be reverted to processing before the date of birth is modified.
