How to upload and assign an ECG for approval

When a product includes the Electrocardiogram (ECG) health category, ECG is a measurement section on a Medical.  ECGs can be uploaded in a variety of file formats.

 

How to upload an ECG Upload to a medical when status is Processing:

  • When a medical has a status of Processing > select the Measurements tab.
  • In the ECG section > click Choose Files.
  • Select the source file for upload > select Open.

Note: The system default is for No ECG image File to be selected 

  • If you wish to provide a copy of  the ECG to the client with their report,  select Shared with consumer?
  • Click Remove to delete an uploaded ECG.
  • Select the Interpreting Doctor from the drop-down list.
  • After an ECG has been uploaded an ECG_uploaded tag will be applied to the medical.
  • When all measurements within the medical are complete > click Submit for Review.
  • The ECG approval status will be Pending and the name of the assigned approving doctor will be displayed.
  • When ECG approval is Pending, a medical can only be Preapproved.

Once ECG status is Approved,  a preapproved medical status will update to Ready for dispatch.


Both the medical  and ECG must be approved before a medical can be dispatched.

 

How to upload an ECG Upload to a medical when status is Ready for approval or Preapproved

  • In the ECG section > click Choose Files.
  • Select the source file for upload > select Open.
  • Tick Shared with consumer? if you wish to provide a copy of the ECG to the client with their report.
  • Click the trash icon to delete an uploaded ECG.
  • To view an ECG after a medical has been Approved, use the Attachments link at the bottom of the page.

More than one ECG file can be uploaded if required.
