    🟢 Green flag: Indicates a normal audiogram and otoscopic examination

    🟡 Amber flag: Indicates one or more of the following:

    • Category 2 (mild hearing impairment)
    • Category 3 (poor hearing)
    • Otoscopic examination (wax present), (inflamed ) or (dull tympanic membrane)

    🔴 Red flag: Indicates one or more of the following:

    • Category 4 (rapid hearing loss)
    • Category 5 (unilateral hearing loss)
    • Otoscopic examination (active discharge)
