Audio Screen

The beep hearing test (pure-tone audiometry) is a type of hearing assessment used to determine the quietest sounds heard at various pitches or frequencies.

Interpretations are based on tests conducted in accordance with WHO guidelines, using a threshold of 40dB and a minimum of four test frequencies: 500 kHz, 1000 kHz, 2000 kHz, and 4000 kHz.

If the client has an existing hearing problem, an active ear or respiratory infection, or has been exposed to loud noise, input for the audio screen result is not displayed.

    Interpretations

    Flag assignment and report content are generated to reflect the relevant combinations of data inputs from questionnaire responses and physical measurements.

    🟢 Green flag: Indicates the audio screen result was a pass.

    🟡 Amber flag: Indicates the audio screen result was a fail.

    🔵 Blue flag: Indicates an audio screen was not performed.
